WifiInternetMobile.com is an independent comparison and ordering-assistance service — we are not an internet service provider (ISP) or wireless carrier. Because we are independent, we believe you deserve a clear, plain-English explanation of how we are funded and how that funding does (and does not) affect what you see on our site. This page is that explanation.
We have written it to be honest and specific rather than buried in fine print. If anything here is unclear, the Questions & contact section at the bottom tells you exactly how to reach a real person.
How we make money
We do not sell internet, Wi-Fi, or mobile service, and we do not bill you for anything. We keep the lights on through referral and affiliate relationships and advertising arrangements with some of the providers and partners featured on the site. In plain terms:
- Referral and affiliate commissions. When you click a link, request a call, or place an order through our site and then sign up with a provider, that provider (or a marketing partner that works with it) may pay us a referral fee or commission. The amount can be a flat fee or a percentage, and it can vary from one provider to another.
- Advertising relationships. Some providers and partners may pay to advertise with us or to be featured in eligible placements on the site. Where that is the case, the arrangement is a paid advertising relationship, not an editorial endorsement.
- Calls and order assistance. When we help you place an order over the phone or hand you off to a provider's ordering team, the resulting sign-up may also generate a referral fee for us.
We may have these relationships with some, but not all, of the providers we describe. The presence or absence of a paid relationship does not change whether a provider can appear in our content or how we evaluate it.
It’s free for you & doesn’t change your price
Using WifiInternetMobile.com is completely free for you. We never charge a fee for our comparisons, tools, guides, or ordering assistance, and we do not add any markup, surcharge, or hidden cost to a provider’s plan.
We may earn a commission from some providers. This doesn't affect your price or our editorial independence.
Same price, whether you go through us or not
Any commission a provider pays us comes out of the provider’s own marketing budget — it is not added to your bill. You pay the same price ordering through our site as you would going directly to the provider, and the provider’s published terms and your order confirmation always govern what you actually pay.
Final pricing, promotions, equipment fees, taxes, and availability are always set and confirmed by the provider, not by us. Treat anything you see here as a starting point for your research and confirm the details directly with the provider before you order.
Editorial independence
Our comparisons and reviews reflect our editorial team's independent assessment. Compensation from providers does not influence rankings, ratings, or recommendations.
This is the single most important commitment on this page, so we want to be explicit about it. Whether a provider pays us — and how much — has no bearing on how it is ranked, rated, described, or recommended. We do not sell better rankings, we do not let advertisers approve or rewrite our assessments, and we do not hide unfavorable facts about a paying partner.
To keep that promise real, we maintain a clear separation between the people who research and write our comparisons and the relationships that fund the business:
- Our editorial assessments are based on documented criteria — not on what a provider pays.
- A provider cannot buy a higher placement, a better rating, or the removal of an accurate but unflattering detail.
- We will feature, and will recommend against, providers regardless of whether we have a paid relationship with them.
- When something is a paid placement or advertisement, we label it as such rather than presenting it as an editorial pick.
How we decide what to feature
We choose which service types, plans, and providers to feature using documented, repeatable criteria rather than ad hoc judgment or payment. In general, we weigh factors such as:
- Availability and relevance — whether the option is realistically available to the households we serve and matches what people are actually searching for.
- Value and transparency — the clarity of pricing, the presence of meaningful promotions, contract terms, equipment costs, and fees.
- Performance and reliability — advertised speeds and the technology behind them, balanced against real-world expectations.
- Customer experience — the ordering process, support reputation, and how straightforward the provider makes it to get connected.
We apply the same criteria whether or not a provider compensates us, and we update our content as plans, pricing, and availability change. For the full picture of how we research, source, and review the information on the site, see our methodology.

Where these relationships may appear
Affiliate, referral, and advertising relationships can be present in several places on the site. So you always know what you are looking at, here is where they may appear:
- Outbound links to a provider’s website or ordering page, including buttons such as “See plans,” “Order,” or “Check availability.”
- Phone calls and order assistance that connect you with a provider’s ordering team.
- Comparison tables, plan cards, and roundups where a featured option may also be one we have a relationship with.
- Clearly-labeled advertisements or sponsored placements, which are identified as paid when they appear.
- Tools and ZIP/address checks that present available options and let you proceed to order with a provider.
Not every link or mention is monetized, and the existence of a paid relationship never upgrades a provider’s editorial treatment. When a placement is paid advertising rather than an editorial selection, we label it.
Our commitment to honest, clearly-labeled comparisons
We built this service to make comparing connectivity options easier and more trustworthy, and that only works if you can rely on what we tell you. We commit to the following:
- Honesty first. We describe options accurately, including their drawbacks, and we do not overstate what a plan can deliver.
- Clear labeling. Paid advertisements and sponsored placements are identified as such and kept distinct from our editorial picks.
- Independence preserved. Compensation never decides our rankings, ratings, or recommendations.
- No pay-to-win. A provider cannot purchase a better review or suppress an accurate, unfavorable one.
- Confirm-before-you-order. We consistently remind you that final pricing, terms, and availability must be confirmed directly with the provider.
Why this matters to us
Our independent status is the whole reason this service is useful. Protecting your trust — by being upfront about how we earn money and firmly separating that from our editorial judgment — is not just policy, it is the point.
